System Objective: To design and implement a wireless mobile system which provides an easy and efficient way of checking availability, maintaining and allocating parking spaces in SJSU garages for. SJSU staffs, Parking Garage Administrator, SJSU students and Visitors are the potential customers to use the system on regular basis.

Customer Functions:

• User Registration with valid Identification
• User Login /Logoff
• Check Garage name, location, floor section plans, parking lots availability, opening days and hours, price range/price code.
• Choose parking lot in particular garage.
• Staff and Students get assigned parking.
• Parking lot assigned or rejected.
• Check parking charges and late fees.
• Administrator enables and disables parking sections after and before lot repair.
• Receive reminder if parked for more than specified time.

System Functions:

• User role based context sensitive web application.
• Students can have monthly ($100), yearly ($500) and five yearly ($1500) passes.
• Staff gets to park free in assigned parking sections.
• 30% parking lots are assigned to staff, 50% to students and 20% to Visitors.
• A typical day starts from 9AM to 4PM.
• Visitors can park and charged on hourly or daily basis.
• Visitor’s fee is $3 per 2 hours and $10 per day.
• Late fee is also charged for overtime parked cars based on hourly and daily.

• Visitors can check the availability but are can not log into SJSU Parking System.
• Security features for protecting or helping Staff members and SJSU students.
