EE211 Network Analysis and Synthesis In this course the design and analysis of passive and active filters will be covered. The EE211 course is intended for graduate students. It is normally given in the Fall semester. However, undergraduates may also take it in lieu of the Elective Course EE175, which normally is given in the Spring semester. The contents of EE211 and EE175 is very similar. On this Web site you will find the course description and schedule (the Greensheet), some of the class handouts, some of the assignments and solutions. An effort is made to make EE211 and EE175 a Web assisted course. Thus additional information is or will be available on this Website, for example chapters of the nomograph which Strasilla is developing. Initially he is working on those chapters which are not readily available in a book form, and which will be distributed to the student in this form. Also powerpoint lectures can be reviewed on this Web. Some quizzes and the solutions of the quizzes will be posted. This Website will be interactive, thus student comments or discussions are expected. A useful part of this Web will be the links to filter and circuit design programs, commercial filters and other Web resident filter tutorials. Please go first to the Index of the Filter Course from which you may branch out to the other parts. |
