Master Projects and Theses My research interests include topics in ASIC and system design, computer inter-networking, microprocessor and microcontroller, cluster computing and cluster architectures. If you are interested in my research areas and want me to be your project/thesis advisor, please: - Email me with your short resume at least three weeks before the semester started and meet me during the first week of the semester (in this case, you will develop a proposal during this semester and spend the next semester for the project) - Your resume should include: ∙ All your course work and your technical experience ∙ A statement which shows your interested research area - I will then respond you for a meeting appointment Writing a Master Proposal and Project
Report: In addition to the guidelines from the department website which is somewhat out-of-date (http://www.engr.sjsu.edu/electrical/project_guidelines.htm), students please develop your proposals and reports per the required format as described below: - Guideline for Master Project / Thesis Proposal - Guideline for Master Project / Thesis Report What need to be Turned-in with the M.S.
Project Report? Please make sure that you have all documents listed below together with your report at the time you turn-in the final revision of your M.S. report for approval: 1. Copy of an approved M.S. project proposal 2. Record of graduate seminar completion (EE297 seminars) 3. Record of approved project/thesis defense (project presentation) 4. A binded-copy of the completed project/thesis report 5. A CD-ROM contains PDF file(s) of the project/thesis report 6. A CD-ROM contains PDF file(s) of the project/thesis report and all other remaining documents related to the project, including source codes, database, graphics, etc... 7. Submit your report online. Instruction for submitting the reports online: EE297-Master-Project-Submittal.doc EE299-Mater-Thesis-Submittal.doc Items 2 and 3 can be proved by obtaining signatures for “EE297 Master Project Approval Form,” which is on the last page of EE297 Application form that can be downloaded at www.engr.sjsu.edu/electrical/downloadable_forms/EE297Application.pdf Rules and formats for thesis (EE299) proposal and report are the same as for the project.
