There’s no better way to immerse yourself in engineering than at SJSU. Located in the midst of Silicon Valley, the only public university at the epicenter of the high-tech industry, the Davidson College of Engineering provides real-world engineering education. Its full-time faculty have formed valuable industry relationships, and its part-time faculty are dedicated teachers, many of whom work in Silicon Valley.
We understand that many of our students work part or full-time and want the latest, cutting-edge programs. Keeping up with current developments in the engineering and science curriculum, we are pleased to offer a new concentration in Biomedical Devices and a specialization in Bioinformatics/Bioengineering for graduate students.
The college also realizes that its students have families and jobs in the local area. In an effort to help its graduate students remain in Silicon Valley and pursue research, the college recently signed an agreement with Mississippi State University (MSU) outlining the MSU/SJSU Engineering Ph.D. Gateway Program.
