The Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) Peer Advisors provide students in the College of Engineering with:

• A central location where they can go to have any questions answered.
• The ability to talk to other CoE students about issues they are having, whether it is personal or academic.
• Information about the University and the College itself.
• Direct access to an academic advisor.
• Advice about being a CoE student from a student's perspective.

ESSC Peer Advisors also meet individually with students on academic probation to discuss their status and motivate them to excel. If you are on academic probation please visit the Academic Probation page.

Please Note: ESSC Peer Advisors do not have access to the University’s database system and therefore cannot provide students with General Education Check Sheets. To have a GE Check Sheet created or revised, please make an appointment to see a staff advisor by calling 408-924-3990.
