ME265 Computer-Aided Mechanical Engineering Design

Greensheet Homework Project Home

This course uses integrated approach to computer-aided design (CAD) including: overview of CAD, numerical techniques for CAD, computer graphics and design, principles and management of design database systems, finite element analysis (FEA), and design optimization.  Introduction to rapid prototyping concept will also be included.  The course will help students to increase their knowledge of  principles and their applications to designing machines that utilize CAD and FEA programs in mechanical engineering design.
