RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT

I have been the Principle Investigator or lead-PI on over $500,000 in external grants over the past seven years.  These include a $75,000 bioremediation study, a $115,000 corrosion in boiling water reactor study, and a $45,000 grant for the development of a Hazardous Waste Management Laboratory. 

My main three current research projects are:

Ø Growth and Characterization of Different Varieties of Nanotubes

Ø  Genome Sequence Search Using RNA Sequence Alignment Algorithms with Dr. Brooke Lustig

Ø      Growth and Characterization of Functionalized Star Polymer Multilayer Thin Films with IBM Almaden
