SJSU ME graduate receives NSF Graduate Fellowship - 4/4/08
Anita Rogacs has just received a prestigious 3-year graduate fellowship from the National Science Foundation (NSF). She is currently a masters degree candidate at Stanford University , and plans to
use the fellowship to pursue her PhD in mechanical engineering there. Anita graduated magna cum laude from our BSME program in 2007. She has published the results of her senior project, "Cost-performance optimization of a diamond heat spreader" in the proceedings of the 2007 IEEE Advanced Packaging Materials Conference. Her many awards here include selection as a Global Technology Scholar and a College of Engineering scholarship recipient. In addition, the ME faculty
voted
her the ME graduate of the year in 2007. Congratulations Anita, we are proud of you.
