All incoming and
continuing MAE graduate students are advised
to follow the procedure listed below:
- Download and read the Graduate Student
Survival Guide from Dr. Agarwal's webpage.
- Read the University Catalog information
for Graduate Programs.
- See the Graduate Coordinator every semester
for advising,
ME Majors see Dr. Agarwal (E310D) - Advising Hours are Tuesdays 2:00-4:00 and Thursdays 2:00-4:00 & 5:00-6:30pm, AE Majors see Dr. Mourtos (E183) - Advising Hours are Tuesdays 4:00-6:00, Wednesdays 5:30-6:30, and Thursdays 4:00-6:00pm.
- Take the Writing Skills Test (WST) during
your first semester at SJSU.
- Satisfy the CSU Competency in Written English
requirement during your first year at SJSU.
- Be sure to apply for Candidacy. The forms can be found on the Graduate Studies and Research page for current students.
- Complete Course Equivalency if any during your first semester.
