Dr. Jinny Rhee joined the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department
at San Jose State University in 2002. She teaches courses in the thermal and
fluid sciences area of mechanical engineering as well as engineering
mathematics and senior design project. Her interests include renewable
energy, thermal management, and multidisciplinary education for engineers.
She is a Co-director of the Electronics Cooling Laboratory, and the Director
of the Solar Engineering Laboratory at SJSU. Furthermore, Dr. Rhee
is the faculty advisor for the SJSU student chapters of SWE (Society of
Women Engineers) and IEEE-CPMT (Institute for Electrical Engineering and
Electronics - Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technologies).
Dr. Rhee received her B.S. (1989), M.S. (1990), and Ph.D.
(1995) degrees, all in Mechanical Engineering, from Stanford University.
