Maintenance Engineer Supervisor Opening
We are currently seeking a Maintenance/Engineer Supervisor to work at our Margarine Plant in Sunnyvale California. This position shall provide technical and operational support for the plant in maintenance, engineering and TPM activities. This person will help support the plant's safety philosophy of zero accidents/incidents. The Industrial Engineer Co-Op is a graduate student seeking to advance their degree and/or experience in the high tech industry focusing on Fab operations, key metrics and customer drivers. Internship - Serious Materials
The position is with Serious Materials, a greentech start-up that designs and manufactures innovative, energy-efficient building materials.
The assignment will focus on the following projects:
· Conduct time and motion studies; develop work standards and a capacity planning model.
· Review packaging alternatives, evaluating cost, space, environmental impact and safety.
· Review inspection procedures and update documentation.
Work will be at the Serious Materials plant in Newark, CA. We are planning a two month engagement, starting as soon as the candidate is selected.
