An Interdisciplinary Master’s Degree Program for Technical Management Professionals

The Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering, in cooperation with the College of Business, has a dual-degree graduate program offering an MBA and a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Systems Engineering (MSE). The MBA/MSE dual-degree program is offered in a cohort fashion, where all students take the same classes on an accelerated schedule that is tailored to accommodate Bay Area professionals’ busy lifestyles and educational advancement needs.

The dual-degree program is available at the Rose Orchard Tech Center in San Jose. Each three-unit class is eight-weeks, meeting one evening weekly and two Saturdays for ten class sessions in eight weeks. Classes are delivered year-round in three terms: Spring, Summer and Fall. This format allows students to complete six courses a year.

Students will complete 18 courses with a total 52 units of graduate study in both Business and Systems Engineering. Students will graduate from the dual-degree program in three years acquiring two master’s degrees, an MBA and an MSE.
