Graduate & Extended Studies
The MBA/MSE dual program provides for an accelerated program to obtain two degrees: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) with a program emphasis in Systems Engineering. The program is available to LMCO employees who prefer an accelerated, “executive” style of learning.
All courses are offered at Lockheed Martin Space Systems in Sunnyvale, CA. Each three-unit class is eight weeks, meeting one evening every week and two Saturday meetings. This format allows students to complete six courses per year.
The curriculum builds upon the two colleges’ vast business and engineering expertise. These courses have been developed to provide advanced business and professional education as well as to respond to the changing nature of Engineering at LMCO.
The advantage of the accelerated format is that students can complete the two degrees in approximately 32 months, less time than the semester format used in our traditional on-campus program. The program’s first LMCO cohort successfully completed their course requirements in Spring 2008, and we are pleased to announce a second LMCO cohort was established in Fall 2007.
