among public universities not granting PhDs
In the US News & World Report "America's
Best Colleges 2009" issue, San José State's
computer engineering program was named the second best in the
nation among state-run universities without Ph.D. programs,
and was ranked #4 (up from #5 last year) nationally when private
institutions were added to the mix.
Fast-track to Success:
Combine a BS Computer Engineering degree with a graduate degree
in Computer or Software Engineering
The Computer Engineering Department will offer
a combined BS and MS degree, and will open the combined degree
for enrollment this Fall. Check
