Student Clubs

Most MatE students belong to the two MatE student clubs, Materials Advantage,a consortium of four major materials engineering professional societies, and Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).

There are two ChE student clubs: the student sections of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and/or the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).

Many students participate in the Spartan Solar City Club - an interdisciplinary activity focused on process design, fabrication and system design with photovoltaic cells.

The two clubs do many activities together, including seminars and social  events, and working at our high school recruitment activities Engineering Open House and Discover Engineering Camp.

The Society of Women Engineers welcomes all engineering students to participate in activities.
