SJSU ITE
was founded by Ms. Ming Gu, an
undergraduate student, in the fall of
1993. She researched what needed to be
done in order for SJSU ITE to be
recognized as a school organization.
With her help, SJSU ITE got the
regonition from Associated Students at
San Jose State University and the
International Institute of
Transportation Engineers. SJSU ITE was
lucky enough to obtain valuable advice
from Dr. Jan Botha who teaches
undergraduate and grauate level
transportation classes at San Jose State
University. The organization has now
grown from only a few members to over 50
student members.
Currently Ms. Ming Gu is working at T.
Y. Lin Company in Fremont, CA. |
