Beginning in Fall 1998, ME 106 replaces EE 105 as a required course for all ME majors. Students who have completed the prerequisites (E30, EE 98 and Math 133A) may enroll in ME 106. Interested EE majors may enroll in the cross-listed course, EE106.

The application for the 1999/00 David Brown Fellowship in Mechatronics is now available on-line. (The application is in pdf format. Download the free pdf viewer from Adobe if you don't have one installed already.) The annual fellowship award is for $2000 to promote the professional development of the recipient in the area of Mechatronics, and to advance the development of the Mechatronics program at San José State University. Applicants must be US citizens. If you are interested in learning about Mechatronics and getting paid to do so, please apply!
