Can I attend the Biomedical Devices program part-time or on evenings only?

The program is designed to accommodate working professionals. Practically all graduate level classes are held in the late afternoon or evenings, meeting either once a week for three hours or two times a week for 1.5 hours each time.

However, depending upon the prerequisites that are needed, there could be some times when you have to take a class that meets during the day.  The prerequisites are typically undergraduate level classes and these are usually scheduled during the day so as to avoid scheduling conflicts with graduate classes.  Every effort is usually made to schedule these classes either early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

Can I still apply if my GPA is lower than 2.75?

While we request a minimum overall GPA of 2.75, other application documents can supplement a low GPA. Therefore, a slightly lower GPA should not prevent you from applying to the program.  You are encouraged to contact the Specialization Area Coordinator, Professor Guna Selvaduray, to discuss your specific situation.
