Why I decided to join the Executive Board:
I have decided to join the executive board because I feel that I can contribute to the mission
and success of the Black Alliance of Scientists and Engineers(BASE). My leadership, critical
thinking, and hard working skills, united with my peers; as well as my networking background,
would be a great formula for what is needed to excel at this position within the organization.
I look forward to working with everyone and helping BASE thrive.

Why I decided to join BASE:
I joined BASE because I loved how the organization is comprised of passionate people who share the
sane goals as I. This organization consists of members who are striving to graduate in difficult
majors and are willing to uplift others in the process.

Why I decided to join the Executive Board:
I decided to join the Executive Board because I felt like I needed to contribute and do my part in
the organization and not just be another body. I feel I posses the characteristics and skills that
are necessary to help make the chapter that much better in the near future. I wanted demonstrate my
dedication to making myself better as person by gaining a new experience in something worthwhile that
will have a positive effect on my future.

Why I decided to join BASE:
I joined BASE because as an organization they represent an environment of young educated
and talented minorities on campus that were committed to not only graduating college but
making an impact on their community and the citizens within them. I became an ACITVE
member because BASE is now my second family.

Why I decided to join BASE:
I decided to join BASE because this was the first organization on campus that was commited
and worked hard to follow their mission statement. BASE was more than just an engineering club,
they believed in community involvement, family, and having successful careers. This organization
believed in the same things that I did and I wanted to be a part of it.

I joined BASE because I wanted to be involved in the campus community. More specifically
I joined BASE because our mission statement coincides with my own dreams and aspirations,

community. I joined the executive board because I had the desire to be a leader and I
wanted to help our members fulfill the mission.

Why I decided to join BASE:
The reason I decided to join BASE was because the interaction within this organization is very
intriguing in a sense that everyone in this organization work cohesively with each other. i also
wanted to join this organization because it will give me the opportunity to exert my ideas around
our executive board which gives me the opportunity to bring my ideas to life. By joining this
organization I hope tp not only gain experience but to gain a sense of social networking
throughout the year.
