12 BACHFES meeting and presentation
- Clark Quinn gave talk
- we agreed to a joint meeting in April (22nd?) with SJSU
student chapter, something like The Human Factors Workplace ? a panel
of local HF professionals discuss their work and career opportunities
o to be held at Office Master, perhaps; I will check on
that after the date etc. are firmed up
o Kalmi from SJSU as a contact
- we agreed to offer research funding to one or several
student research projects in September
o an announcement to be sent to the email list and univ
contacts this spring
o then later details about attending a meeting in Sept.
when each student would present a short oral proposal
o open to any Bay area students doing HF research, not
just SJSU
o I (Tom) will organize this process
