Aviation and Industrial Technology Minors Form

If you want to obtain a minor in either Aviation or Industrial Technology, you should submit an academic minor form (link here) to a department advisor for a signature. After you receive the signature of the advisor, you should submit the form to IS 111 for the department chair's signature.

Internships

Department of Aviation & Technology students can enhance their class experiences  with aviation, industrial, or business internships. You can download more information about internships by clicking on the internship information link below.  To enroll in an internship you will need a faculty advisor and an industry position to work in.  Your advisor may be able to help you locate a suitable internship.  If you want to apply for an internship, you should click on the internship forms link. Both of these linked documents are in Adobe Acrobat format.  Visit the Department Internship page for more information on Internships.

Individual (Independent) Studies courses

Department of Aviation & Technology students can enhance their class experiences with an independent study.  The purpose of an independent study is to allow you to study topics or materials that are not covered in regular courses.  These usually carry the course number Tech180 or Avia180 and can be for from 2 to 4 semester units of credit.  You begin by contacting a faculty advisor who will supervise and work with you on your independent study.  If you want to apply for an independent study, you should click on the independent study form link. This form is in Microsoft Word format.
