Department Scholarships

Each year (during the Fall semester), the department accepts applications for scholarships.

There are seven scholarships available for aviation majors and four scholarships available for industrial technology majors. Requirements for these scholarships vary and will be verified by the department. Both the number and size of these scholarships have been increased in recent years. The scholarship applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee who will make the final decision on these scholarships by the second week of November.

If you are interested in a scholarships, please complete the application below and your answers to the essay questions by October 21st. The application should either be emailed to the department secretary afarris@email.sjsu.edu or dropped off in the Technology (IS 111) office by the application deadline (see form, below).

If you have any questions about these scholarships, please email us.  If a scholarship indicates financial need, the student must be eligible for financial aid and be registered with SJSU’s Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.
