Mechanisms Students obtain a
broad engineering background through core

broad CE background through required CE

more in-depth knowledge in specific areas through
elective courses. The culminating
experience in the curriculum (ENGR 696 & 697)
features an open-ended project which requires that
each student must learn information beyond what is
required in courses. Students are
required to attend engineering seminars for ENGR

1-1/2 years of engineering topics, with about
