Engineering programs in the CSU
system are participating in this project to
share ideas, information, and models of
assessment of engineering programs in particular
those subject to ABET accreditation
requirements.
On this site you will find learning
outcomes for each participating programs,
program contact information, ABET accreditation
criteria, links to other sites, and a dedicated
listserv -clearinghouse@mail.engr.sjsu.edu.
This listserv will allow participants to ask
questions and receive feedback and advice from
each other as well as to share new information
about links and resources for engineering
assessment.
Soon members of the Clearingshouse will be
receiving a survey regarding how they have
implmented assessment in their programs. As the
project progresses, this web site will summarize
the results of that survey and include a
database of program outcomes, learning
objectives, assessment techniques, management
systems and more. Be sure to periodically check
this homepage for items of interest. We will do
our best to keep the site up-to-date and
highlight new materials and information that can
be resources for all of us.
