BIKE PARKING ON CAMPUS: TWO OPTIONS

    1 - BIKE ENCLOSURES

Park your bike for FREE in any of the five Bicycle Enclosures located throughout the campus. An access key is required to use the enclosures. Although the Bicycle Enclosures at SJSU provide an additional layer of security, bicycles must be properly secured inside the enclosures. It is recommended to park your bike inside any one of the Bicycle Enclosures.

To sign up for the key, stop by the Transportation Solutions Center in the Student Union. There is a $10.00 refundable deposit for the access key. Also, bring your Tower Card or other forms of proof of your enrollment or employment at SJSU when signing up.

Upon returning the Enclosure Key to T.S., the deposit would be refunded to the user by mail.

Only currently enrolled or employed SJSU students and faculty/staff may sign up for Bicycle Enclosure keys and have access to enclosures. T.S. will deactivate keys issued to users who are no longer enrolled or employed at SJSU.

    2 - BIKE RACKS

You can also park in any bike rack provided adjacent to most campus buildings. Most bike racks outside the enclosures are not designed for U-locks.

It is illegal to lock your bicycle to a railing, or park your bike anywhere that might block an exit to a building or office. The University Police could impound your bike.
