EIT Exam Prep Course Will Begin Jan 30 @ SJSU
Monday, January 18, 2010 by Andrea Rios, Section Chair

Hello Students

Please bare with us and these incessant updates. I do my best to give you the most complete information on whatever is sent to you. Unfortunately, I have come to the realization that there was much information that had not been given to me and what was passed on was confusing and incomplete. I sincerely apologize for this. So, having said that, here is the latest, most complete update on the class and how to register for it.

As previously mentioned...

EITExperts will be holding an EIT preparation class during Spring 2010. It will begin on January 30 and go until April 12. It will be held on campus from approximately 8 am to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

NEW UPDATES:

***

The regular class cost is $925. SJSU students will receive a $250 discount, so you will only have to pay $675. This offer is valid on its own. No other offers or promotions may be added to it. If you pay online through PayPal, you are initially charged full price and then the discount is returned to you on the first day of class. This is explained on EITExperts page, here.

Payments can also be left in-person in the MAE office (Rm 310). This seems like a better option than paying online because you won't have to submit any personal info online (submitted payments through MAE will be remain sealed until delivered to EIT Experts) and you also won't have to worry about waiting to be reimbursed for the discount. You can just write your check for the discounted price.

***

Registration and payment can be taken care of up until the first day of class, but an earlier registration will guarantee you a seat. Payment plans are accepted!

(Inquiries for the payment plan should be submitted to Dr. Jahanian at eitexperts@eitexperts.com).

However, the service charges described on the EIT Experts website will be applied. If you register by Friday (online or in-person), you could get the class materials for free. Afterwards, it will cost $13 (still very, very inexpensive).

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS DOWNLOAD:

Download the registration form.

Download the schedule of classes.

All interested students can register online. OR You can fill out the registration form (find the link above) and leave it in a SEALED, security envelope with the payment (SJSU discounted price) in ASME's mailbox in the MAE Office Room 310.

I strongly suggest all interested students to take advantage of the opportunity. I did some research for myself and found that Kaplan's going rate for similar exam preparation, live-classroom courses that are held for a similar amount of class time is a couple of thousand dollars!! Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Hopefully this sorted out a lot more for everybody.

If you have any questions still, please feel free to reach me.

Sincerely,

Andrea R.
