Omid Kordestani, College of Engineering alumnus ('84 Electrical Engineering), is the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development at Google Inc. He is well known in the high-tech industry for developing the business model that capitalized on the powerful, new internet search engine. In May 2007, Mr. Kordestani gave the commencement address at the SJSU gradation ceremonies.
